Presenters are not required to pay the registration fee, however they are
required to register. The cost of parking passes and tickets for the evening
events is in addition to registration fees, and presenters will also be required
to pay for these items. Pre-registration and advance ticket purchases are
strongly encouraged. All prices include G.S.T.

Parking: (see map) Outer Reserved Lot 2 without the pass is $12/day;
Unreserved Lot 3V, the closest inexpensive visitor's lot to the
conference, is $ 7/day. Neither daily rate entitles one to in/out
privileges. The conference will take place in Founders College,
performances in Winters Dining Hall (both in Complex One)

Participants must make their own reservations. When doing so,
indicate that you are attending the "Researching Black Musics"
conference at York University, and give them our identification
number: 2626. Until April 11, 2003, rooms will be available at
the York conference rate of $85/night. After that time, they will
charge the regular rate, which is scheduled to be $119/night.

The hotel is ten minutes from York University by car or taxi.
The University can be reached by bus as well: 36 Finch West
(going east) to Sentinel. Change to 106 York University
(going north). Ask to be let off near McLaughlin/Winters College.
