Leili Golafshani Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of English, Media Studies and Art History at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia Leili Golafshani is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of English, Media Studies and Art History at the University of Queensland. Her current research project, titled, Silent Subjects: feminism, life writing, and asylum seeker archives from Nauru focuses on the representation of Muslim women and children in the archival letters between asylum seekers in Nauru and Australian human rights advocates during the "Pacific Solution" (2001-2007). She lectures in Gender Studies and has published widely on the contexts and cultures of women writers and referee life-narratives. |
