Travel, Accommodation,
Financial Assistance
Travel
and accommodation are the responsibility of delegates. For
International delegates only, on request, we can assist in
booking accommodation in hotels. Delegates wishing such
assistance must provide complete information giving exact
dates of arrival and departure, and the choice of hotels.
Information about hotels in Chennai can be found on the
conference website.
For a few
delegates who cannot afford to travel to Chennai (such as
students and research scholars), there is limited and partial
support for travel. Those who require a travel grant must make
an application to the Organising Secretary separately giving
reasons for their inability to afford travel to the
conference. An application for a travel grant does not mean
such a grant will automatically be made.
The
conference registration fee covers the cost of providing
conference materials, coffee/tea and working lunches. It also
covers the cost of a Conference Dinner on December 15.
Separate fees may apply to fieldtrips and workshops.
