The 'KEY" to INCLUSION- by EJ Ki
Children who live with various forms of physical or intellectual challenges face denied access to things 'normal' children have. However, the problem lies not upon children but social structures built around the belief that able-bodied is 'normal'. The keyhole depicts disabling and discriminatory social structures, attitudes and behaviours whereas the key depicts the rights promised to children with different abilities, their right to belong and to be seen as full human beings.
