Searching Yorkline

Yorkline, the Libraries' online catalogue, contains information on the books, periodical titles, and microforms held throughout the university library system. Yorkline can be searched by author, title, keyword, and subject.

University of Toronto Library

For students who live downtown, the UofT library system can be a helpful resource. Although undergraduate students who are not U of T students cannot get book borrowing privileges, the library facilities, including online databases and journals, periodicals, and reference material can be used by anyone. Graduate students from other institutions are permitted a library card with borrowing privileges, but do not get extended loan periods. Robarts Library is on St. George St. a few blocks south of Bloor and easily accessible by TTC. The OISE library, on Bloor just east of St. George St., contains many women's studies resources.

Toronto Public Libraries

The Toronto Public Library system is a comprehensive system that encompasses dozens of branches throughout the city. Users can access the library catalogue online at home or in each branch, and request books from other branches.

Nellie Langford Rowell Library

The "Nellie"began as a handful of books; now it is a substantive and varied collection of women's studies' books, periodicals, and miscellaneous material. It is open to all users and located at 204 Founders College.
