I think that everyone has a responsibility to try to preserve what they have learned about their family's history. This is not because we are concerned with blood lines (which get pretty thin after awhile), but because we learn something important about human nature from our ancestors, no matter how humble or prominent.
From time to time, I will be adding to this page, as time permits, for the enjoyment of amateur historians, family (close and distant), and interested readers.
