Fitzhugh Brundage, has written Lynching in the New South: Virginia and Georgia, 1880-1930 (1993), A Socialist Utopia in the New South: The Ruskin Colonies of Tennessee and Georgia, 1894-1901 (1996), and edited and contributed to Under Sentence of Death: Essays on Lynching in the American South (1997). He is Associate Professor at the University of Florida.
