Linda Kealey, a specialist of women's and labor history, is Head of the Department of History at Memorial University in St.John's Newfoundland. Her publications include numerous articles on Canadian radical women and A Not Unreasonable Claim: Women and Reform in Canada; Beyond the Vote: Canadian Women and Politics (with Jooan Sangster) and Pursuing Equality: Historical Perspectives on Women in Newfoundland and Labrador. She is co-editor (with Keith Walden) of the Canadian Historical Review.
