On Saturday August 31, we invite you and your family to attend our Friends & Family Welcome Event where you can explore our new campus together.
This event is exclusively for York University Markham Campus students and their friends and family members. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
During this event, you and your family will have the opportunity to connect with one another and with staff and Faculty from the Markham Campus. We will also be offering information sessions and a resource fair for parents/families, undergraduate students and graduate students to learn more about the different resources to help our students succeed. Finally, we will have food trucks, activities, campus tours and a fair to connect with our on and off-campus partners.

As we get ready to open the doors at the Markham Campus, we know that you and your family and friends are eager to see the space and explore the different facilities this new campus has to offer.

| 10:00 a.m. | Registration and Check In York Volunteers will be on-campus to welcome you and help answer questions you may have about the event. |
| 11:00 a.m. | Welcome and Opportunities for Connection The Markham Campus community would like to welcome you and your family to the new campus. This is also a great way to meet other students and families who are going to be part of the York Markham Campus community. |
| 11:30 a.m. | Markham Campus Fair (11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) Throughout the day, you will have the chance to connect with on-campus and local partners and explore the new campus. We will also have food trucks available for food purchases and outdoor activities. |
| 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Family Session We invite family members of our students to attend this session to learn about the resources we have that will support their students. This includes information about financial aid and how families can support their students. OR Undergraduate Student Session All incoming undergraduate students will have the chance to connect with other incoming students from the different programs. Students will also get a chance to ask questions to upper year students and learn from their experience/s. OR Graduate Student Session Students beginning their graduate education will have the opportunity to network with other incoming graduate students. In addition, students can connect with faculty members to ask them questions |

Markham Campus Parking
Driving to Campus
With the support from our partners at Remington Group, York University’s Markham Campus is happy to share that parking will be complimentary to our guests. Parking at our Remington Lot is located at 436 Enterprise Blvd. Once parked, please make your way to the Markham Campus building located a 1 University Blvd.
For accessible parking accommodation, please speak with the security official at the Pan Am Centre driveway on YMCA Blvd. for instructions.
