TORONTO, September 2, 1998 -- Osgoode Hall Law School is bringing the newest teaching technologies to its programming this fall with the opening of a classroom wired for Internet connection, multimedia presentations and electrical outlets for laptop-toting students.
The facility - made possible through a significant donation by Goodman Phillips & Vineberg - will be a new teaching and learning centre equipped with a computer, motorized large screen, VCR, camcorder, computer projector and high quality sound system and lighting for an enhanced learning environment.
In celebration of this new electronic classroom, representatives of Osgoode Hall Law School and Goodman Phillips & Vineberg invite the legal community to join them at the official opening of the classroom and the announcement of a related Goodman Phillips & Vineberg scholarship fund. A reception in the Osgoode Faculty Common Room will follow the official ribbon-cutting and classroom demonstration.
