and Definitions
Given that this is a short course assignment, I have chosen to do a limited
content analysis looking at the two characters Marge and Homer and looking
at what happens to them under two conditions: under a good light or under
a bad light.
"Under a good light" category defines as being correct in actions,
a suitable action that may relief tension, being clever or actions that
based on good intentions will all be considered as under a good light.
For example, Homer spent time on shopping for flowers and making up nice
words for Marge, this will be count as under a good light.
The other category, "under a bad light" would be just the opposite.
It can be defined as being silly, stupid, wrong and making a wrong decision.
For example, Homer accused Bart for being rebellious, when Bart tied up
the baby sitter bandit was in fact a correct action.
Hypothesis
Homer Simpson assumed to be making more wrong decisions than Marge Simpson
does.
Result
Under a good light
a. Marge - 3 counts (75%)
b. Homer - 1 count (25%)
Total of 4 counts
Under a bad light
a. Marge - 4 counts (20%)
b. Homer - 16 counts (80%)
Total of 20 counts
