Using the communication analyst, *Grossberg's method of finding meaning, content analysis I will conduct a quantitative study on the sit-com That 70s Show. I am particularly interested in the episode summaries of the third season for the show. To begin my research I have created the following categories with a code to each clarifiying what each catogory will look at. These categories will divide my analysis into a quantitative study:

1. Shows about drugs
2. Shows about alcohol
3. Shows about family
4. Shows about teenage dating
5. Shows about the friends going out for fun
6. Shows about politics
7. Shows about music

8. Married couples
