Strengths Although Gray's research has a few weaknesses (LINK 10) her research on women's use of the VCR is strong. One of the most effective portions of Gray's study is her explanation of her background research in the field of mass communications. She gives various reasons for the significance of her research topic by outlining areas that were overlooked in previous studies. Another strength of Gray's study is her devotion to standpoint feminist research. Within her study she includes a small autobiography that explains why she choose the women in her study. Although it would be very easy to include a person of a different race or class for comparison she does not stray form studying subjects that belong within her standpoint. |
