Sustainability/Sweat Shops Canadian Labour Congress- The CLC wants union leaders and members, students and activists fighting for social justice to learn more about the issues and what can be done to put an end to sweatshop abuses and child labour worldwide. United Students Against Sweatshops- is an international student movement of campuses and individual students fighting for sweatshop free labor conditions and workers' rights. Maquila Solidarity Network- is a labour and women's rights advocacy organization promoting solidarity with grassroots groups in Mexico, Central America, and Asia working to improve conditions in maquiladora factories and export processing zones. We believe retailers must be accountable for the conditions under which their products are made. Sweat Free Communities- SweatFree Communities assists sweatshop workers globally in their struggles to improve working conditions and form strong, independent unions. Workers Rights Consortium- The WRC's purpose is to assist in the enforcement of manufacturing Codes of Conduct adopted by colleges and universities; these Codes are designed to ensure that factories producing clothing and other goods bearing college and university names respect the basic rights of workers. International Labour Organization- is the UN specialized agency which seeks the promotion pf social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights. Sweatshop Watch- Sweatshop Watch serves low-wage workers nationally and globally, with a focus on eliminating sweatshop exploitation in California's garment industry.
