Facilities in the Johnson lab

Our laboratory is equipped with a number of modern instruments for biomolecular production and analysis including a Pharmacia AKTA FPLC, a Cary 100 Bio UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, a MicroCal VP-Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (ITC), a Techgene PCR thermocycler, and a Genius Bioimaging System. NMR data analysis and structure calculations are performed on linux-based computers.

NMR experiments are performed on either a Varian 600 or a Bruker Avance 600 NMR spectrometer available at York.
