Presenting Reports: Helpful Hints

 

1.  Select a member of your team to introduce the team and the author whom you have selected.

 

2.   Clearly introduce each member by name - first and last name- year of study and current major at York and the last school attended.

 

3. Clearly introduce your author -first and last name- and the title of his/her work.  You may wish to write this information on the board make sure to place the title of articles in quotation marks and to underline or italicize  books and journals.

 

4.  Your designated reader should speak clearly and slowly -undergraduates' instincts are to feel as though they are speaking more slowly than they really are!

 

5.  All members of the team must be prepared to answer questions about the report.
