Topic: As explained in Seminar 14 September
1. Fully identify the document that you
found (or were told!) was closest in time to your chosen or assigned event.
Please give us the documentary title i.e.
the name of the work in which your document may be found in Latin or Greek and
the number assigned that inscription of papyrus.
Please let us know where we may find a
convenient translation into English of your document.
2. Write a preliminary report with your initial
observations about your document , its origins and purpose and even its content
if you believe you can do so.
Please keep a running inventory of all
your work in a form that may be easily read by everyone in the class.
