The Korean Office for Research and Education (KORE), part of York University’s York Centre for Asian Research, is a hub for Korean Studies in Canada. Launched in 2018 with funding from the Academy of Korean Studies, KORE fosters innovative Korean Studies through interdisciplinary work. Its faculty leads research, supports education, and promotes international collaboration. KORE also aids young and undergraduate scholars with funding, mentorship, and educational programs.
