Kris Olds is Associate Professor of Geography, University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on the geographical organization of global networks in relation to contemporary urban transformations. The geographic context for his research is the broad Asia-Pacific/Pacific Rim region, and the interdependent skein of global cities spread around the globe. His publications include (as co-editor) Globalization and the Asia-Pacific: Contested Territories (1999), The Globalization of Chinese Business Firms (2000), and (as author) Globalization and Urban Change: Capital, Culture, and Pacific Rim Mega-Projects (2001). |
