Cameron Hall   PhD Candidate (UBC)
Cameron (she/her) is a graduate student working under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Baron at the University of British Columbia. Prior to joining Dr. Baron's Social Cognitive Development Lab, she completed a B.A. in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She is primarily interested in how children learn gender norms and develop biases, as well as form their own gender identities and expressions. Her research interests include gender identity development in childhood, bias and stereotype development, social norm learning, and children’s media. In one ongoing collaboration with Dr. Baron and Dr. Steele, Cameron is examining the impact of communal and agentic framing on children's interest in STEM.
