Conference Location
All scientific events for POMS will take place in the Life Sciences Building (LSB; picture on the bottom) at the NW corner of the University.
How to get there
…by subway from Toronto downtown: Both York University and Pioneer Village serve the campus. LSB is closer to Pioneer Village; exit through the bus terminal (follow the YorkU signs) and head towards LSB along the right side of York Lions Stadium.
...by car: Enter York main campus through Steeles Ave W at the Northwest Gate. At the roundabout take the Thompson Road exit and follow along until you see LSB. There is parking right next to it or along the north side of the building. Parking is $7 flat on Saturdays and $5 flat on Sundays.
...by bus from the Extended Stay Toronto Vaughan hotel: take the TTC bus line 60 Steeles West (eastbound) across the street from the hotel to Pioneer Village subway station. Follow the YorkU signs and head towards LSB along the right side of York Lions Stadium.
Opening Mixer Location
The Opening Mixer is at The Underground (Fri, 7-9 pm) in the basement of the old Student Centre, centrally located on York’s Keele campus, next to the iconic Vari Hall (picture on top). The closest subway station is York University.
