Correct! An even cursory glance at the sites linking to HEAL's site indicates, as the content on HEAL's site would suggest, that HEAL proposes alternative or dissident views on the relationship between HIV and AIDS. Alternative or dissident views are not necessarily problematic and some may argue that they provide a good counterweight to prevailing knowledge. HEAL's site would be a good place to get information if you were doing research on alternative views on the HIV/AIDS relationship. However, for most research looking at HIV and AIDS, you would not want to rely exclusively on this site. An added bonus of doing 'link' searching: if you wanted to find other websites with alternative or dissident views on the relationship between HIV and AIDS, these results would be very useful. If you find a website that contains useful information for your research, see what sites are linking to it. Ready to move on? Go to Purpose and Objectivity
