Welcome to AI@York, your hub for exploring the ethical application of Generative AI (GenAI) across teaching, research, and technology at York University.  The resources you will find here are rooted in York’s core values, mission, and strategic vision, while also considering AI’s impact on our diverse community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and partners.

York’s broader AI strategy is informed by the AI Roundtable, which advises on and supports the ethical, academic, and operational dimensions of AI at York.

York’s AI Roundtable fosters cross-divisional communication and collaboration on AI implications, and advises on policies and strategies for responsible AI use in research, teaching, and administration.

The AI Roundtable includes representation from the following offices and groups:
