Description
Elevate student storytelling with a micro-credential in Glendon’s emerging technology makerspace featuring virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), 360 photography, and 3D printing.
As AI writing tools become commonplace, audiences may become desensitized to curated, automated messaging. New ways to engage and connect must capture shortening attention spans and invite deeper engagement.
This program will deliver a 6-8 week immersive bootcamp that introduces students to emerging technologies for the Extended and Mixed Reality (XR/MR) spaces branded collectively as the Metaverse, and Spatial Computing. These experiential workshops expose students to new media for expressing ideas, telling stories, and conducting research.
Industries are investing heavily in VR and AR. These skills will prepare Glendon graduates to think, evolve, and apply tools for the pace and scope of this Extended Reality where physical, and digital worlds intersect.
