Description
Social Policy Ideas Lab (SPIL) aims to provide interactive education to undergraduate students who are willing to work very hard to learn by doing empirical research on social policy. As an experiential education project, SPIL engages undergraduate students outside the classroom to explore different pressing social policy problems of our times and search for possible solutions. Advancing knowledge with the objective of moving closer to solving challenging social policy problems is important in university education as it immerses students in the ebbs and flows of our society. Through their SPIL experience, undergraduate students will develop skills in critical thinking, information literacy and effective communication to help them grow into informed, responsible and ethical members of our civil society.
