Description
This project sheds a critical look on how we define proficiency in a second language. One aspect of the project aims at creating a curriculum in French as a second language for academic purposes (FAP) that is relevant and interesting to young adults attending college or university and studying in specific fields. The project also looks into the individual’s learning styles and habits for ways to make the learning process more focused. Finally, it looks into the coherence of existing language assessment practices, and opts for a constructivist approach.
