The York University Career Centre

As part of the York community, the Career Centre is a team of professionals who work with students, alumni, staff, faculty, and employers to support students and new graduates (up to two years after graduation) in the development of career self management skills.

For the month of June, there are several workshops and webinars to support students and recent grads in their career development. Whether you’re looking for a summer, part-time, full time or volunteer experience, or exploring your career options, these activities will provide you with the tools to effectively recognize and articulate your skills and experiences and succeed on the job.

June 20 | 9am-12pm: Who Am I? workshop in 103 McLaughlin College 

June 25 | 10am-12pm: Resumé and Cover Letter Writing workshop in 103 McLaughlin College 

June 26 | 10am-12pm: On the Job Success webinar 

June 27 | 1:30-4pm: Suit Yourself: Personality and Career Choice in 103 McLaughlin College

Additionally, there are over 85 TASTE meetings available this month. The TASTE Mentoring Program provides students with an opportunity to talk face to face with a York Alumna/us and other professionals about their career-related interests. Check out the step-by-step guide on how to enroll and apply today!

Please register for these and other Career Centre activities as well as search for and apply to a variety of summer, part-time, full time and volunteer opportunities both on and off campus through Experience York.
