On Tuesday, August 23, and Wednesday, August 24, Parking Operations staff participated in a Traffic Enforcement and Direction Course taught by TNT Justice Consultants with relevant traffic enforcement experience working previously with municipal police organizations. As a result, all Parking Officers get refreshed/trained on current traffic enforcement skills, which include practical exercises out on campus with live traffic.
This course was instrumental in ensuring all staff are properly trained on traffic enforcement and direction for vehicle and pedestrian safety on York University campuses.
