BeeCon Abstracts

The call for abstracts for BeeCon 2024 is now open! Please submit by August 2nd 2024.

We are so excited that you want to be involved in our upcoming BeeCon. This year we will be having a hybrid event, accessible virtually on both October 17 and 18, 2024, but including in-person presentations and networking events at York University in Toronto, Ontario, on Friday, Oct 18, 2024! Please complete the required information below to indicate how you want to be involved in this year's conference. Speakers will be allowed a maximum of 12 minutes of presentation time, with a 2-3 min Q&A period at the conclusion.
  • Please list the pronouns you use (e.g. she/her, they/them).
  • For example: Research Technician, MSc Student, Associate Professor, Postdoctoral fellow, etc.
  • Please include your institution, organization and/or research group affiliation
  • Abstract titles will be used for the conference program
  • Talk abstracts will be used for the conference program and should be no more than 200 words in length.
  • Indicate their affiliation if different than yours
  • The webinar will be live-streamed via Zoom and/or privately to YouTube and recorded, prior to video editing and any optional sharing (see below).
  • Please indicate what you want us to do with the recording of your presentation.
  • If you are a X (Twitter) user, please note your handle below, starting with @. E.g. @beesyork
  • If you are an Instagram user, please note your handle below, starting with @. E.g. @beesatyork
  • Please let us know if there is anything else you would like us to know.
  • The completion of this Call for Abstracts form does not register you for the conference. Registration for BeeCon must be completed separately.
