Osgoode Class of 2019 steps up to fund summer internships for students
Osgoode Hall Law School alumnus Rick Frank (’19) reached out to his classmates to see if they would support the 100 Interns Project that was initiated by University of Alberta law Professor Peter Sankoff to help law interns secure placements during the COVID-19 pandemic. Frank issued an appeal to his classmates and they were able to raise $950 to support Osgoode interns. Students who are placed through the project will receive 60 hours of work at $20 an hour. The fund will allow students to take on legal research, complete pro bono work or assist with legal aid. It's a winning solution during a difficult time.
