York-University affiliated athletes impress at Paris Olympics

Among the 10 York University-affiliated athletes who competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this summer, several won gold and silver medals for Team Canada.

Ten York-affiliated athletes, and one medical staff member, will travel to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to represent Team Canada in a range of sports including rugby, volleyball, swimming and more.

Lions Cup raises record proceeds for varsity student-athletes

The 21st annual Lions Cup Golf Tournament, hosted at King’s Riding Golf Club by York University Athletics & Recreation, raised $165,500 to fund bursaries for varsity student-athletes.
