Please complete the form below for your asset to be considered for LCD Screens across our campuses. Before submitting a request please read and review the brand and design requirements below. Please allow up to five working days for a response.
Brand and Design Standards
- Image size must be 1920w x 1080h pixels (aspect ratio of 16:9)
- File type should be JPEG or PNG at 72dpi (minimum) / MP4 (video files to be produced in 16:9 aspect ratio in 1920w x 1080h )
- Your ad must not include the York U logo, as it will already appear at the top of the screen.
- Incorporate an image whenever possible. The image should be without any copyright restrictions.
- Keep it simple: Include a maximum of three thoughts. The ads will run for 10 seconds each.
- Include a simple URL for people to get more details. Wherever possible, use the shorter “yorku.ca/” naming convention and/or QR Code
- Consider accessibility: Avoid small text, as viewers are typically walking by and viewing from a distance. Keep text to no more than 30% of the screen.
- For any video submissions, duration of the clip should be 10 seconds and without any sound.
Who can post on the LCD Screens
Staff units, approved student clubs, and institutional partners are allowed to have assets added to the screens across campus. If you are a York staff unit, you are required to be on brand as per our visual standards. If you are a student club/external partner you are not required to be on brand but much meet the size requirement and best practices.
