Project Summary
Over the course of the year, our team directed our energies and disciplinary skills toward the subject of health care. Our team was initially tasked with developing affordable dialysis machines created with renewable sources for use in developing regions. However, with our particular skill sets, we decided to reframe the tasks and address the issue of chronic kidney disease through the lens of preventative care. The result was The LifeStyle Program, an educational webinar and “crash course” focusing on addressing Chronic Kidney Disease in Nigeria through raising awareness and providing information about ways to minimize the risk of developing Chronic Kidney Disease.
