This award will be given to a student who is a graduate of a school that has participated in the York University Westview Partnership (Westview Centennial Secondary School, C.W. Jeffrey's Collegiate Institute, Emery Collegiate Institute, James Cardinal McGuigan and North Albion Collegiate).

To be considered, applicants must:

1. be first generation Canadian (i.e. parents born in a country other than Canada);
2. be entering a direct-entry undergraduate program with a minimum admission average of 75% (or equivalent); AND
3. have made contributions to student life by volunteering in their secondary school or community.

The recipient must also be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or protected person, a resident of Ontario and demonstrate financial need.
