An award will be given to a student entering the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies from Oakwood Collegiate high school or a high school in the Jane-Finch or Regent Park communities.

Fall eligibility ($1,300): To be eligible, a student must enrol in at least 24 credits, demonstrate financial need, have been involved in their community and declare an interest in studying in the social sciences (including anthropology, economics, human geography, political science or sociology). Preference will be given to students of African or Caribbean Heritage.

Winter eligibility (Varying amounts): An award will be given to a student in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies, majoring in political science, criminology or law and society, who has completed at least 24 (and no more than 60) credits and has a cumulative grade point average of 7.00 or higher.

Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons, residents of Ontario and demonstrate financial need.
