PDAC is Canada’s leading mining industry association. It holds an annual convention in Toronto, Canada which brings together more than 25,000 people including investors, financiers, banking executives, fund managers, brokers, analysts, lawyers, mining developers, exploration managers, prospectors, geoscientists, students, and government officials from around the world. It is met every year by protests organized by various Toronto-based activist groups, notably the Mining Injustice Solidarity Network (MISN).
