Equity, Education & Sustainable Development
Background
UN Day is a commemorative day marking the official creation of the UN and the entry into force of the United Nations Charter in 1945. This day is devoted to raising awareness of the goals and achievements of the UN and gaining support for the work that the organization is doing.
On this occasion CIFAL York is organizing a panel discussion to celebrate, reflect and discuss some of the key and ongoing UN efforts around equity, education, and sustainable developments, by bringing together academics, professionals, and students to share their views, perspectives, and suggestions to make the world more equitable and sustainable.
