This form can be used to apply for partial funding to participate in the “Inside the PH EOC During Covid-19 Pandemic: Challenges, Lessons and Opportunities Symposium & Next Generation Pandemic Exercise” to be held at the York University Keele Campus in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on September 28 & 29, 2023.
This opportunity is possible through a grant from the Fields Institute & the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). Note that you will need to pay for your expenses ahead of time and get reimbursed after the symposium.

Application Process
Please fill in the form below. Applicants need to submit a CV, containing basic information such as degrees earned, current affiliations, and a list of publications. Graduate students can include relevant coursework, projects, grades, and any other information that the student feels is relevant to support their application. Applications for funding will be approved in the order that they are received and based on qualifications included in the submitted CV. To qualify for funding, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: Early Career Researcher (10 years from PhD), Postdoctoral Fellow, Graduate Student.
Travel Support Requirements
Applicants are strongly encouraged to secure additional funding from other sources. Funds will be disbursed only in the form of reimbursements for actual expenses. A receipt is required for any expense reimbursed (e.g. airfare and hotel receipts).
The reimbursement will be sent as a cheque by mail six to eight weeks after receipt of an acceptable reimbursement form and supporting receipts.
