Embedding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the STEAM Curriculum WORKSHOP
The first goal of the workshop is to engage educators on the 17 sustainable development goals. Through a Purposeful Learning curriculum we seek to connect the school curriculum to everyday challenges that students face in our societies. The SDGsSTEAM- will specifically support educators to learn about and apply the SDGs in the classroom through experiential learning. The second goal of the workshop is to support educators to create the needed connections between SDGs and the new Ontario Science and Technology Curriculum-to begin to develop creative lessons for use in the classroom.
