Jan. 14th SUBURBSTALK- Dr. Alex Schafran presents “The Strange Case of the Bay Area”.

As part of the SUBURBSTALK series, Dr. Alex Schafran (Paris School of International Affairs) presents “The Strange Case of the Bay Area”. This event will be held on Monday, January 14th in Room 305 York Lanes from 1:30-3:00pm.

Alex Schafran recently completed his PHD in City & Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a visiting researcher at Institut Français de Géopolitique, Université de Paris 8 and teaches in the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), Sciences Po. His work has appeared in the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, Urban Geography, and Environment and Planning A, and most recently as a chapter in Des Frontières indépassables? Editions Armand Colin.
