Ute Lehrer (FES) was featured in the May 4th isssue of the Toronto star, in an article entitled, "The Beach: Will the condo boom kill it or save it?". Lehrer describes the proliferation of condos in the area as a type of hyper-gentrification, which may have adverse effects on diversity in the community.
