Scholarships and Awards

The Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies offers a substantial number of scholarships, awards, and prizes to undergraduate and graduate students each year. Students are invited to apply for any and all  awards for which they are eligible.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • All applications must provide the name and email address of a faculty member or a visiting professor who is affiliated with the Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Studies, and who agrees to support your award application. Applications without this information will not be considered. Please note that Awards are not guaranteed regardless of faculty support.
  • Several of the awards are only available to Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Protected Persons, and/or Residents of Ontario. To be considered for the maximum number of awards, please make sure to fill the citizenship section of the application.
  • Several of the awards are based on financial need. Please complete your Student Financial Profile at the beginning of each semester to qualify.
  • Awards are available to undergraduate students, graduate students, and students who wish to study in Israel for a summer, semester, or a full academic year. A list of all awards and their criteria can be found here.
