Bethune College is affiliated with the Faculty of Science and we provide academic orientation for students entering the Faculty of Science.
What is Academic Orientation?
Academic Orientation is a day of in-person activities that help you get connected and ready to begin classes in September. You will meet your fellow students (new students like you as well as senior students in your program), connect with your Peer Mentor (who will help you transition to university this year), learn more about the department that offers your program major, say hello to some of your professors, and most importantly, get your questions answered. You’ll learn more about the resources Bethune College offers to support you during your first year, get tips for success from professors and senior students, and find out how you can get involved in university life. Oh – and you’ll get a chance to check out the university campus so you do not feel lost when classes start.

We have two locations, depending on your program/major:
Curtis Lecture Hall (CLH)
North Lobby
125 Campus Walk
Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemistry, Data Science, Math & Stats, Physics and Astronomy, Undecided Majors
Lassonde Building (LAS)
South Lobby
120 Campus Walk
Biology, Biomedical Science, Environmental Biology, Environmental Science, Neuroscience
How to get to Keele Campus
If you are coming via the subway please get off at the Pioneer Village station, and exit via the south side.
