About Maureen Mayhew
Maureen Mayhew is a Canadian physician and author who recounts her experiences in Taliban-occupied Afghanistan in her novel Hand on My Heart: A Canadian Doctor’s Awakening in Afghanistan. She has spent over 25 years practicing medicine across Canada and in several developing countries across the globe. As she continues practicing as a Leadership Coach, Maureen looks to engage with students across Canada and provide insight on her diverse experiences in the field of health.
