About
LEAD Essentials Workshops will equip students with the knowledge, skills and tools to positively contribute to organizations and society. Attending the LEAD Essentials workshops will provide students with an opportunity to network with fellow students, Peer Leaders and Leadership Coaches.
Examples of LEAD Essentials Workshops include:
- Adaptability to Change
- Conflict Resolution
- Self-Care and Nutrition
- Fostering Emotional Wellbeing/Emotional Intelligence
- Tact and Diplomacy
- Meaningful Living
- Exploring Meaningful Work
Eligibility
This training is optional and open to all Faculty of Health students (programs affiliated with the Faculty of Health include Global Health, Health Studies, Kinesiology and Health Science, Neuroscience, Nursing, and Psychology).
The completion of ELT, FPLT and APLT is NOT mandatory.
Program Requirements
By completing 4 LEAD Essentials Workshops you will be eligible to receive a Letter of Completion that is signed by the Head of Calumet College and Head of Stong College.
Schedule
Typically, this program is delivered in-person. Each LEAD Essentials workshop is scheduled between 60-90 minutes.
