Peer Mentoring For Faculty of Health Students
The peer mentoring program connects well-trained upper-level undergraduate students who have proven to be knowledgeable, experienced, and motivated to assist incoming and transfer students to help them transition to and experience success at York University.

Objectives
Help improve academic performance of students utilizing the Peer Mentoring Program and to refer/encourage further use of other campus resources.
Facilitate personal development of Peer Mentors and Mentees through cross-mentoring and guide Mentees toward a path of success as defined by their own personal standards.
Cultivate and refine Peer Mentor’s consultation, facilitation, and leadership skills.
Provide a sense of connectedness.
