The online RSVP form is now closed. You can still enter the RSVP portal to access your tickets and RSVP confirmation.

If you didn’t RSVP online before the deadline of October 1 you may register for the ceremony in person at the Box Office 90 minutes prior to your convocation start time. On site registration is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.

Please note that the graduand does not require a guest ticket to attend their convocation. The robe rental confirmation page acts as a student ticket to convocation.

Guest tickets will be available to each graduand after the completion of the RSVP. Each guest requires a ticket to be admitted and each ticket has a barcode that is unique.

Each graduand will be able to claim up to 3 guest tickets.

Children under the age of three (3) do not need a ticket and can accompany an adult, sharing their seat.

Two weeks prior to convocation, graduating students who RSVP’d to attend convocation will receive an email invitation from our partner NameCoach to voice-record their name and provide the phonetic pronunciation of their name for their graduation ceremony. Recording your name on the NameCoach site will help ensure that it’s announced or pronounced correctly at the ceremony.

Provided that your eligibility is received prior to the printing production deadline for convocation, you will receive the diploma/certificate you are entitled to on the day of your ceremony.

Those unable to attend the convocation ceremonies should refer to the Registrar’s Office website to learn more about pick-up dates and location.

To inquire about having your diploma/certificate mailed, please contact diplomas@yorku.ca.
