Jackline Oduor

Currently undertaking her M.A. in Gender and Development Studies at Kenyatta University in Kenya. Jackline holds a B.A in Social Sciences from the University of Nairobi, Diploma in Teaching, a certificate in Education in Emergencies from University of Geneva and a certificate in Mental Health and Psychosocial support in Education in Emergencies from Arctic University of Norway -Tromso. Jackline has over 18 years of experience in Education programming for refugees much of which has been in Kakuma Refugee Camp and Dadaab Refugee Camp. Her key area of research revolves around the role of the government of Kenya in enhancing quality and Inclusive Education for the refugees; more so for the girls who because of multiple vulnerabilities have their education affected. Currently affiliated to University of Geneva as key facilitator of 2023 Certificate of Advanced Studies in Education in Emergencies. Also passionate about mentorship of refugees through life skills training and referrals to opportunities.
