As a Research Assistant at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research, Sarah works with the Wellness Impact Lab (WIL), guided by Dr. Harvey Skinner and Susan Harris. Her work focuses on innovative projects, including Climate Cafés, which foster community dialogue about the emotional impact of climate change. She assists with evaluations, contributes to manuscript preparation, and engages in knowledge synthesis. Additionally, Sarah supports mindfulness-based programs, such as the Interbeing Wellness series, which features Qi Gong and meditation. She also develops materials for youth engagement and contributes to the lab's research initiatives and outreach by promoting events and managing digital content, including copywriting and graphics for social media.
With a career goal of supporting vulnerable populations, including displaced people, women, and children, Sarah aims to leverage her research and community engagement to create meaningful and tangible impact in disease prevention and climate adaptation.
