Mohamed is a graduate from Western University with a bachelor of health sciences, and currently pursuing a master of public health. Throughout his academic career, Mohamed has had experience working on many public and global health research projects surrounding topics such as: Indigenous health, mental health, maternal health, and environmental health. More specifically, he has worked on research topics such as zoonotic diseases and West Nile Virus, deforestation in the Amazon, men’s mental health promotion, and the effects of vaping on youth mental health. Mohamed joins as a global health intern with the goal to create and provide useful resources for staff and interns to use throughout their Dahdaleh experience.
